Nepal 2010 - From Jomsom to Kagbeni and Muktinath

This is a pictorial story of a trek in Nepal in 2010. Following our retreat at the international Buddhist Academy at Boudanath Stup, we fly to Pokhara and then Jomsom. Jacqui's back issues to not allow her to undertake long treks, but we hope to manage this one with a porter to take the weight.

A days walk from Jomsom brings us to Kagbeni, that amazing Tibetan village on the route to Mustang where we settle into the Red Lodge with it's hidden temple.

Another days walk takes us up to Jharkot and Muktinath. We do not attempt to walk back since there is a 4wd taxi that runs down the new road on the other side of the valley and Jacqui was lucky to get this far, giver her back issues.
