Jacqui and I took our twelve year old daughter, Pippa, on this trek to introduce her to the mountains. We want to fly into Lukla, but in 2000 the runway is being resurfaced, so we fly into Phaplu instead. From there we walked up to Namchee Bazaar and back over three weeks.
